FUNDRAISERS

ASB Fundraisers are events sponsored by ASB focused on raising funds specifically for the “students” at BYMS.

Our first fundraising event is the magazine /cookie dough /jewelry sale. Our goal is to raise a net profit of $25,000 this year. You may see the ASB Home Page link in order to view some of our previous and intended expenditures.

Remember that our turn-in dates are:

Turn-in #1 – September 30 at 8:15 in the MPR

Turn-in #2 – October 6th at 8:15 in the MPR

DRIVES

Drives are also ASB sponsored events; however, Drives are focused on raising funds or goods to be donated to charitable organizations.

Our first DRIVE for the year will be the POP TOPS drive. We will be collecting POP TOPS or aluminum “can tabs” in first period classes. These POP TOPS will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House on a quarterly basis. Each first period class will be tracked as far as the weight (in grams) that is collected. At the end of the year, the class with the most POP TOPS (in grams) will earn a dessert buffet for their hard work and dedicated service to the Ronald McDonald House.
